Your privacy matters. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, and no third-party tracking. Your data stays yours.
We don't use profiling or automated decision-making.
We believe privacy should be simple, transparent, and respectful of your choices. This policy explains what happens when you visit our website or contact us, what limited technical information may be processed, and what rights you have over your personal data.

This website
Server logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, the date and time of your request, the pages or files accessed, your browser and operating system, and the referring page.
This information is processed solely for technical and security purposes, including operating the website, diagnosing problems, maintaining service availability, and preventing unauthorized or malicious activity.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Logs are retained only for as long as necessary for website operation, security, and troubleshooting, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. They are processed on our behalf by our hosting provider in Italy.
We don't use server logs to build visitor profiles, analyze individual browsing habits, or track users across websites.
Cookies and local preferences. We don't use cookies. Our website remembers just one small preference, stored entirely in your browser:
- Your privacy notice preference: whether you've dismissed the notice, so we don't keep showing it. Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data.
This preference is strictly technical and used only to provide the functionality described above. It never leaves your device, is never shared with anyone, and doesn't require your consent.
The language of the website depends only on the address of the page (for example /en/) and is not stored.
You can remove the preference at any time by clearing your browser's website data.
No third-party tracking. All fonts and images, including the map on the contact page, are served directly from our website. No external services are contacted automatically while you browse.
We don't use analytics platforms, advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media trackers, or similar technologies.
You may find links to other websites, such as the App Store, Google Play, GitHub, Stack Overflow, WhatsApp, or Telegram. They're just links: those services only receive information when you choose to visit them, under their own privacy policies.
Contacting us
Email and phone. If you get in touch, we'll use your email address or phone number, your message, and any information you voluntarily provide only to respond to your enquiry and manage the related correspondence.
We don't add you to mailing lists, send unsolicited marketing messages, or use your correspondence for profiling.
We'll keep your correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, or longer if required by law. We process your messages based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, or, when you ask for a quote or a service, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b).
WhatsApp and Telegram. If you choose to write to us through WhatsApp or Telegram, your messages and account details are also processed by those services under their own privacy policies, which may involve transfers outside the European Union. If you prefer, you can always contact us by email or phone instead.
Providing personal information. You don't need to provide personal information to browse our website.
If you contact us, we need your email address or phone number to reply. Any additional information you choose to include is voluntary. We encourage you not to share sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
Our work for clients and the apps
Personal data processed on behalf of our clients while developing, hosting, or supporting their software is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the clients' instructions, rather than this website privacy policy.
The apps shown on this website have their own privacy policies, linked from their App Store and Google Play pages. For the noWay:apps apps, see the noWay:apps privacy policy.
How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited personal data processed in connection with our website and communications.
These measures are intended to prevent unauthorized access, accidental loss, improper disclosure, alteration, or misuse of information.
Access to technical information and correspondence is limited to what is necessary for website operation, maintenance, security, and responding to enquiries.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we aim to minimize risks by limiting data collection and avoiding unnecessary third-party services.
Service providers and data transfers
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data for commercial purposes.
Our website and email services are hosted in Italy. Communications through WhatsApp and Telegram are subject to the respective providers' privacy policies, as described above.
Service providers are permitted to process personal data only for the purposes of delivering their services, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Personal data may be disclosed to public authorities only when legally required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have rights concerning the personal data we process about you. Depending on the circumstances and the applicable legal requirements, these include:
- Access: ask whether we process your personal data and request a copy of it.
- Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your personal data when the legal conditions are met.
- Restriction: request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests, including on grounds relating to your particular situation.
- Data portability: receive certain personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, where this right applies.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time if a particular processing activity is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We don't use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
To exercise your rights or ask questions about how your data is handled, simply email us at info@marguareis.eu.
Requests are generally free of charge. We'll respond without undue delay and normally within one month, as required by the GDPR. Where legally permitted, this period may be extended for particularly complex requests, and we'll inform you accordingly.
Some rights may be subject to legal limitations. For example, we may need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the relevant supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our website, technical infrastructure, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we'll publish the updated version on this page and revise the date shown at the top.
If a change requires additional information or consent under applicable law, we'll take the appropriate steps before introducing the relevant processing activity.
The latest version of this policy will always be available on our website.
