A digital solution developed for Farmacia Orientale in Genoa, designed to make pharmacy services more accessible and simplify communication with customers, directly from their smartphones.
The project includes a Shopify-based online store and mobile applications for iPhone and Android, combining online shopping with services for prescription management, healthcare bookings, and customer support.
App Features
- Access to the online store, product catalog, and shopping cart
- Submission of prescriptions issued by the Italian National Health Service (SSN), as well as veterinary prescriptions
- Prescription-based medication reservations
- Healthcare appointment requests through the CUP booking system
- Capturing and submitting photos of prescriptions or medications
- Barcode scanning and voice search for products
- Direct contact with customer service and technical support
Our work
For Farmacia Orientale, we designed and built the online store using Shopify and developed native applications for iPhone using Swift and Android using Kotlin.
The applications share the technological foundation developed for FAOL, adapted to the pharmacy's specific needs and enhanced with features dedicated to healthcare services.
Particular attention was given to ease of use and the integration of the online store with pharmacy services, allowing customers to submit prescriptions, request appointments, and communicate with pharmacy staff quickly and intuitively.
